overactive imagination while i sleep

It's no wonder why I'm always exhausted. Even when I do sleep (which granted, is not super often) I have the creepiest dreams! It's draining. Case in point:

Last night, I dreamt I was shipwrecked in an indoor pool, but the water was infinity deep and very black. The boat sank but the "room" was just the pool. The wall just went straight up from the sides of the pool so there was nothing to hold on to, except a tiny ledge in the corner. I started to swim over to it and SUDDENLY a furry tail falls over the ledge! GASP! It was a SQUIRREL TAIL! He was sleeping on the ledge so I obviously couldn't go near it then he got up and WALKED ON WATER and waved at me and then I waved back, imitating him. Then he clapped his hands/paws/grubby nubs with rat fingers twice- so I did the same then he was playing this game with me, just to see if I would do the same thing—almost intelligent, like he was the scientist and I was the chimpanzee. Then I sank because I was waving and clapping instead of swimming and staying afloat.
